Man, 34, Fatally Hit By Car On Aurora's West Side
Police say Depo Lo, 34, was walking on Aurora's west side when he was hit and killed by a car.

AURORA, IL — An Aurora man has died after he was hit by a car on Aurora's west side Thursday night. The man, identified as Depo Lo, 34, was walking in the 2600 block of West Galena Boulevard when he was fatally hit, according to Aurora police.
Police say they got a phone call around 10:30 p.m. to report a pedestrian had been hit by a car in the area. When police got to the scene, they say Lo was in extremely critical condition. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries.
Galena Boulevard was closed between Canterbury Road and North Hankes Road until around 2 a.m. as members of the Aurora Police Department's traffic unit worked to reconstruct the scene of the crash. Police say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene throughout the investigation.

The investigation into the fatal crash continues. Police are asking anyone who has information to call the Aurora Police Department's traffic unit at 630-256-5330. Residents can also call Aurora Area Crime Stoppers at 630-892-1000 to leave information anonymously.
