I’m Carrie and I’m pretty amazing if I do say so myself! My early life wasn’t the greatest. I was abandoned in Hardeman County Tennessee. This county has Breed Specific Legislation which means that you cannot own Pit Bulls, Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Terriers…you get idea, I’m not welcome ANYWHERE in the county, not even in a loving home!

I ended up in the shelter where it was so stressful…all that noise and BARKING! I couldn’t wait to get out of there! I came to Illinois where I was welcomed and t shown what it’s like to be wanted. When I arrived, I had Heartworm. I don’t exactly know what that means, but I heard that it’s bad if it’s not treated. Luckily, I had my treatment and feel much better!
I’m really fantastic with people! I love to snuggle and get pet, it’s something that I never had in my past and can’t get enough of now! I’m also housebroken, and crate trained!

Since I spent time in the crowded shelter with all those other dogs, I would prefer to be your one and only, your queen bean, the light of your life! I’m all that and a bag of chips!

My adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). It includes my vetting up to the point of adoption. I’m up to date on my vaccines, I’m microchipped, I’ve been dewormed and had a fecal test and am current on heartworm and flea and tick preventative. If you adopt me, you’ll get a complimentary 1st vet visit at one of our participating vets.
