Mobile Home Wrecked By Fire In Aurora
The blaze occurred on Thursday afternoon in a mobile home park

Just before 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aurora Fire Department responded to a fire on the 1100
block of Rural Street, according to a department press release. Multiple neighbors and a resident still in the home called in the fire.
Responding crews found a single family mobile home on fire. It took 24 firefighters about 45 minutes to fully put out the blaze. The residents had evacuated the home before firefighters arrived. One person was treated at the scene for minor smoke inhalation.

The home, which had been occupied by four adults and one child, was deemed uninhabitable due to extensive damage. The fire department called the Red Cross to the scene to provide assistance to the fire victims. There was minor fire damage to an adjacent residence, but was still habitable. The fire department estimated the damage at $10,000, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
