New Batavia Restaurant Features Pooch-Friendly Patio

Two new Batavia businesses will be holding ribbon cutting ceremonies this month, including the Sidecar Supper Club and Beer Garden.

BATAVIA, IL—Two new businesses will be cutting their ribbons in Batavia this month, giving patrons yet another place to eat and shop.

The Sidecar Supper Club and Beer Garden will cut its ribbon on May 28 at 4 p.m.. The live music venue already has a month-long lineup of eclectic performers ranging from bluegrass to country to rock.

And don't forget to bring you pups. The supper club's seasonal, 5-tiered outdoor beer garden is pup-friendly so you can hang out with both your best furry, and human friends.

The rebranded restaurant will feature a frequently changing, locally-sourced menu, and include "scratch-made family-style" meals, as well as craft beer and whiskies.

The Sidecar Supper Club and Beer Garden is located at 12 N. River Street in Batavia.

Also now entertaining patrons is the Wilson Street Mercantile, 222 E. Wilson Street. The shop, which features handmade, curated and gourmet goods, will showcase products from Light and Pine Collective, Desmond Brown, The Other Half, and Unboring Granola. The selection will be ever changing, encouraging shoppers to visit often.

A formal ribbon cutting will take place Wednesday at 4:30 p.m..
