Person Injured In Shooting On North Lake Street: Aurora Police
Officials said in a statement the injury does not appear to be life-threatening.

AURORA, IL — One person was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound after a shooting in the 800 block of North Lake Street on Monday afternoon, according to Aurora police.
Police said in a statement the wound was not life-threatening.
"At this time, there is no threat to the community," officials wrote. The shooting occurred around 11 a.m. Monday.
