RiverEdge Park Officials Postpone June Concerts
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all concerts scheduled for June of this year will be pushed to 2022. Concert season will kick off in July.
AURORA, IL—Summer fun will be here again, just a bit later than expected.
RiverEdge Park in Aurora will be opening its doors for concerts this year, but will be postponing all scheduled June performances until 2022 .
The venue’s decision mirrors other large performance centers like Wrigley Field and Ravinia in Chicago, which are also delaying June acts due to COVID-19 restrictions.

“While it appears the vaccination process is going well in Illinois, it’s apparent to us that we still will not be in a position to do shows in June of 2021,” RiverEdge officials announced. “We anticipate being able to begin our summer season in July, assuming there are no further restrictions from the state.”
This means that Blues on the Fox, The Chicago Experience, and Satisfaction, all anticipated to play this June, will be postponed until the following summer.

The RiverEdge 2021 season will now kick off on July 9 with Eagles tribute band One of These Nights.
From there, the schedule is expected to follow the venue’s previously anticipated line up. This includes last year's postponed Snoop Dogg and Twista show, now scheduled for July 18, along with Fleetwood Mac, Bob Seger and BeeGees tribute bands peppered in throughout the summer.
Park officials said the venue will be following all state guidelines put in place at that time for outdoor events. Once those mandates are received patrons will be made aware.
