The event features more than a mile of holiday light displays.

AURORA, IL --- Thousands of twinkling lights will illuminate Phillips Park in Aurora for the city's 12th annual Festival of Lights. The free light show, which opens Friday, includes sparkling snowflakes, lights that "dance" to music, and colorful depictions of Santa and his elves.
Families can drive through the park to see holiday lights that stretch for more than a mile. This year, the Festival of Lights will feature more than 400 light designs.
One of the main attractions in the 2018 event is a new "Old Man Winter" light display that will depict the famous character blowing snowflakes.
