Semi Wedged Under Viaduct Halts Traffic In Aurora

AURORA, IL --- A semi truck became wedged under a viaduct in Aurora Thursday, causing significant damage and resulting in the southbound lanes of Broadway being closed to traffic. Officials said Thursday afternoon the lanes would be closed between Benton Street and North Avenue until further notice.

Crews from BNSF railroad are currently working to repair the damage. In a post on Facebook, the Aurora Police Department said, "It is not yet known how long the repairs will take."
