Route 31 Reopens After Serious Crash In Aurora

AURORA, IL ---Route 31 has now reopened to traffic after a crash closed a portion of the road around 12 p.m. Friday. At 2:30 p.m., Aurora police posted an update saying the road had reopened.

Police closed part of Route 31 in Aurora as they investigated a serious crash that took place Friday afternoon. At approximately noon, police announced that the road would be closed in both directions between Indian Trail and Sullivan Road until further notice.

Aurora police say no further information is available, but they will provide updates as they arrive.
