Stolen: $45,000 In Designer Handbags & More From Outlet Mall

Chicago Premium Outlets break-in occurred Wednesday morning. Jewelry and handbags were taken from Versace.

AURORA, IL — Robbers made away with $45,000 worth of merchendise from the Versace store in Chicago Premium Outlets early Wednesday around 2:45. Three men were seen dressed in dark clothing, riding in a silver or gray Hyundai SUV. The vehicle cruised into the mall and backed into the front door of the store, according to police. They left with handbags, belts and more before fleeing toward the mall's main entrance on Farnsworth Avenue. There's no description of the men, but the SUV appeared to have its rear window broken with a possible broken taillight.

Aurora Area Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for any information that leads to an arrest. It can be reached at 630-892-1000. All callers are anonymous.
