Sullivan Road Reopen After Grass Fire Blocked Traffic
There were also downed power lines in the area at the same time as the fire, but officials said power should be back for most residents

AURORA, IL — A portion of Sullivan Road was closed Monday morning due to a grass fire, officials said, but is now reopen for use.
Sullivan Road was closed near Route 25 while Aurora fire officials dealt with a grass fire near the roadway. Traffic was redirected to Indian Trail Road to avoid the area.
Some residents reported power outages in the area at the same time as the small fire. According to a police alert, power lines were downed in the area at the same time. A spokesperson from Aurora police said power has since been restored.
