Water Main Work To Impact Traffic On Galena
Commuters can expect traffic to be affected for "the next several months," city officials said.
AURORA, IL -- Commuters who use West Galena Boulevard are likely to experience some traffic headaches in the coming months. City officials said in a news release that work on a water main will impact eastbound traffic on the road for "the next several months."
Eastbound traffic will be reduced to one lane on Galena between Orchard Road and Edgelawn Drive. Nearby businesses will still be open for the duration of the project.
The water main construction project is expected to wrap up in November.
