An amazing community with residents who are changing the world!

Thank you, Bolingbrook! As 2018 nears a close, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for all the support you have given me during these first few months as your local Bolingbrook Patch Mayor. When Patch started this program I had no idea what it would evolve into, but I was thrilled to be selected. I am incredibly grateful to all who have reached out looking to have their events, stories, and successes featured here on Bolingbrook Patch. I volunteer my time to make sure our hometown of Bolingbrook is getting the attention it deserves. We are truly an amazing community with residents who are changing the world one day and one person at a time. Together we are able to reach our neighbors, share good-will stories, and give local non-profit organizations the attention they absolutely deserve. If you don’t already, I would highly encourage you to follow Bolingbrook Patch and Bolingbrook Events on Facebook. These are great hyper-local sites where information is disseminated.

I’d like to wish you and your family a Happy Holiday and a very Merry Christmas. I am looking forward to 2019 and am already compiling content and events to begin to feature in the new year. If there is ever something that I miss, please let me know. I work on these postings and articles in the evenings and on weekends (during the day I work a full-time job). I will be taking a very short break over the holidays to spend time with family, but will be available via e-mail as things arise.

Patch Mayors are civic-minded, sociable residents who are plugged into what people in town are saying and doing. Michael Carpanzano has been a part of the Bolingbrook Business Community for over ten years. He is engaged in several local non-profit organizations focused on youth mentoring, crime prevention, and education. Michael genuinely believes that Bolingbrook is a place to live, work, play, and grow! He lives in the "River Hills" subdivision of Bolingbrook with his wife (Nadia), their son (Luca), and their family dog (Turbo).
