The Nighthawk Foundation’s 20th annual fundraiser to help special needs childrenhas been set for Feb. 2nd at Itasca Country Club.

Established in 1994, the Nighthawk Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to helping special needs children through fundraising. The funds are used to defray the cost of medical expenses related to the children’sdisabilities or to provide such assets as seeing eye dogs, Alpha Talkers and chair lifts.
Tickets for the Nighthawk Foundation’s Feb. 2nd fundraiser are on sale now. Tickets are $40 per person for a night of dinner, dancing and entertainment. The dinner menu includes lemon chicken, roast sirloin of beef, mostaccioli, au gratin potatoes, California mixed vegetables, salads and deserts.

To fulfill its mission, the Nighthawk Foundation accepts applications for assistance.Applications are reviewed by a committee. Once reviewed and selected for further consideration, the review committee meets with families to confirm the information on the application and to ensure the assistance is truly needed.
After the meeting with the families the review committee will take its findings andrecommendations back to the committee for approval or rejection.
