Bolingbrook Fireworks 2019: All-American Celebration Guide

BOLINGBROOK, IL —July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find some patriotic events going on near you. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Bolingbrook.

Bolingbrook Trash Pickup Delayed, Village Closed 4th Of July

Here's what's in store this 4th of July in Bolingbrook:

• What: Bolingbrook's 4th of July All American Celebration including fireworks, live music, BBQ buffet, local restaurants, food trucks, face painting, the Miller Lite Celebration Bar and more
• Where: Bolingbrook Golf Club, 2001 Rodeo Drive
• When: 3 to 10 p.m. Thursday, July 4
• Schedule of events:
  • 3 p.m.: Official start time
  • 4-7 p.m.: BBQ Buffet ($25 for non-member adults; $23 for member adults; $19 for non-member kids and $17 for member kids). For reservations call 630-771-9400.
  • 5:30-7 p.m.: The Gina Glocksen Band, featuring the Tinley Park native and former "American Idol" contestant
  • 7:45 to 9:20 p.m.: Semple Band, fronted by the Northern Ireland native and Oswego resident who competed on Team Adam on "The Voice"
  • 9:25 p.m.: The National Anthem and spectacular fireworks display, presented by Mayor Roger C. Claar

Food and drink will be available for purchase during the festivities. A free shuttle bus runs from 5 to 11:30 p.m., with pick-up and drop-off locations at Carlow Industrial Park and Plainfield East High School.

As for the weather, there's a 30 percent chance of storms Thursday night, according to the National Weather Service. A high of 89 degrees is forecast during the day, but it's expected to cool down at night.
