Bolingbrook Cops Resuscitate Man Found Unconscious: Police

The 46-year-old man showed no vital signs and wasn't breathing, police said. Officers used CPR and an auto external defibrillator to help.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A 46-year-old man was found unconscious in his home on the 200 block of Canterbury Lane early Thursday morning. After police arrived, officers were able to resuscitate him by using CPR, police said.

Police said the man was unconscious, unresponsive and had no vital signs. Bolingbrook officers arrived at the residence around 4:22 a.m. and immediately started helping the man. Officers were able to revive the man with CPR and an automated external defibrillator.

The man was taken to a local hospital, and the attending physician said he's doing well after the life-saving measures, according to the police.

"The officers will be recognized for their actions for a job well done," a news release said.
