Bolingbrook lost to Plainfield East Monday night in the IHSA 4A regional opener 3-5. 

It was the first post-season win for Plainfield East in its baseball program's history. Plainfield East will take on No. 1 sectional seed Downers Grove South in the regional semifinal Wednesday.
