Bolingbrook Hosts Memorial Day Carnival, Services
The village will host a four-day carnival and a Memorial Day commemoration.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Village of Bolingbrook will acknowledge those who have fallen in service to the country with four days of events. Things start off Friday with the Bolingbrook Memorial Day Weekend Carnival, and end with wreath presentations at Boardman and Hillcrest cemeteries on Monday, followed by a service at Town Center Veterans Memorial.
Here's what you need to know about the carnival, courtesy of Windy City Amusements, which kicks off at 6 p.m. Friday at Village Hall, 375 W. Briarcliff Road. The event is sponsored by the Bolingbrook Lions Foundation and American Cancer Society.

- Friday: 6 to 10 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday: 1 to 10 p.m.
- Monday: 1 to 6 p.m.
The village will offer unlimited ride wristband specials. The daytime special of $25 per writstband is good from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday through Monday. The nighttime special of $30 per wristband is good from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The event offers rides, games, food and fun. ATMs and ticket machines will be available on site.
Wreath-laying events
- These Memorial Day events are set for Monday, May 27:
- 9:30 a.m. at Boardman Cemetery on Paxon Road, north of Royce Road
- 10 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery on Boughton Road, adjacent to the Bolingbrook Fire Department
A ceremony will start at 11 a.m. at the Town Center Veterans Memorial, 375 W. Briarcliff Road.
