Bolingbrook Hosting Concert To Raise Money For Kids Instruments

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Village of Bolingbrook will host the fourth annual Rockin' The Cause concert Sunday at the Bolingbrook Performing Center. The full day of music will help raise money for area kids looking to afford musical instruments or lessons.

The event runs from noon to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the performing arts center, 375 W. Briarcliff Rd. Admission to the event is free, although organizers plan to raise money in a number of different ways.

The first 200 people who donate $20 or more will receive a free t-shirt or travel mug, with a limit of one shirt or mug per donation. A 505/raffle will also be held, as will an auction.

Musical acts scheduled to perform at the event include jazz musician Randy McCallister, The Cryan' Shames, Midnight Ban, an Allman Brothers tribute band, and The Chicago Experience. The Bolingbrook High School band will also perform and kick the event off with the National Anthem.
