Bolingbrook Hosting Inclusive 'Glow Art' Event
Come out and help paint a black-light floor mural at James McGee Elementary Saturday.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Village of Bolingbrook will hold the third annual "Glow Art Experience" on Saturday, where kids and families of all abilities are encouraged to contribute to a large mural. The event is free and open to the public.
The Glow Art Experience will take place from 2-6 p.m. Saturday at Jamie McGee Elementary, 179 Commonwealth Dr. Put on by the Bolingbrook Arts Council and Zot Artz, the event seeks to give kids of all abilities and artistic skills to come celebrate creative expression. Zot Artz is a non-profit that brings art and other creative for children with disabilities.
There will be a "glowing environment" at the event, including black-light art and a rolling floor mural that kids can help paint. Kids will be able to use glow paint, get their face painted, take black light photos for social media sharing and a free paint canvas to decorate and take home.

Quite creation spaces, with regular lighting, will be available for guests with sensory disorders. Concessions will also be available to purchase.
Attendees are asked to dress for painting, or in clothes that can get messy. Shoe and wheel covers will be given at the event. Kids are asked to be supervised at the event.
