Bolingbrook Man Threatens Family Members With Gun: Police
Police said they found the victim physically battered when they arrived at Fernwood Drive.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — A Bolingbrook man was charged with domestic battery Wednesday after he threatened people in his house with a gun, police said.
Officers responded to Fernwood Drive at 12:23 p.m. and found the victim — who had been physically battered and threatened with a gun — outside the house while the offender was still inside the house with another family member, police said.
Police attempted to make contact with the occupants of the home via loudspeaker but were initially unsuccessful. They were eventually able to communicate via the telephone and after a long conversation, the occupants agreed to leave the house peacefully.
