Bolingbrook Performing Arts Center Renamed
Previously on August 11th the Honorary Position of "Mayor Emeritus" was given to the Honorable Roger C. Claar of the Village of Bolingbrook.
In honor of his years of dedication and service to Bolingbrook, an ordinance passed The Village of Bolingbrook Board on Tuesday renaming 115th Street to "Claar Boulevard" and named the Performing Arts Center (375 W. Briarcliff Rd.) behind Village Hall, the "Roger C. Claar Performing Arts Center."
Thank you Mayor Emeritus Roger Claar for the years of service and significant contributions to our Bolingbrook community! Mayor Mary Alexander-Basta and the entire Village Board voted unanimously to approve this ordinance at the regular meeting of Tuesday, September 8, 2020.
