Bolingbrook Restaurant Takes Home Back to Back Awards

McWethy’s Sports Bar recently took the People’s Choice Golden Rasher Award at Baconfest Chicago thanks to their bacon braised brisket tacos served with bacon infused salsa negra and chef-made bacon tortillas.

The following weekend, McWethy's was at Chicago’s Best Wingfest. There they took home Best Dressed Booth. They served two varieties of wings: 1) Pickle Brine Wings had the briny flavor of a kosher pickle and matched the booth’s decor; and 2) Turkey Gravy Wings had sauces delivered via a turkey gravy fountain, which was a real crowd pleaser.

Dan Casey, Executive Chef, said "you don’t have to dine in at big city restaurant to find quality." He also said Sous Chef Anthony Cortez, General Manager Nikki Dow, and Director of Food & Beverage Jimmy Koklas were all a big part of these recent awards and achievements.

Dan Casey added, "We are focusing on quality of food and service and really just trying to have fun with our guests, building lasting impressions. We want you to feel welcomed at our properties, be blown away by our service, and enjoy our award winning food."

McWethy’s Sports Bar is located at 730 N Bolingbrook Dr. in Bolingbrook. It is directly connected to Mistwood Golf Dome.
