Bolingbrook Still Reporting High Weekly COVID-19 Cases

Bolingbrook reported 239 new cases during the week of Jan. 4, following Joliet with 488 cases and Plainfield with 407, according to WCHD.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Bolingbrook continues to have the third-highest number of new coronavirus cases in Will County, public health data shows. According to the Will County Health Department, Bolingbrook reported 239 new cases during the week of Jan. 4, following Joliet with 488 cases and Plainfield with 407.

Throughout November and the first week of December — the only week that month for which WCHD provided data — the village has had the third-most number of weekly cases. The weekly number of cases reported were:

  • Week of Nov. 2 - 257
  • Week of Nov. 9 - 452
  • Week of Nov. 16 - 424
  • Week of Nov. 23 - 336
  • Week of Nov. 30 - 410
  • Week of Dec. 7 - 430

The WCHD on Tuesday reported 59,246 COVID-19 cases, an increase of 1,012 from Friday, and 805 deaths from the virus, an increase of seven during the same period.
