Bolingbrook Store Robbed At Gunpoint Thursday: Police

A man pointed a gun at the cashier of the store Once Upon A Child and fled with "unknown proceeds," police said.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A retail store in Bolingbrook got robbed at gunpoint on Thursday, police said in a release.

Officers received a call at 3:28 p.m. reporting an armed robbery in progress and responded to Once Upon A Child, 315 N. Bolingbrook Drive. The store sells used items for children.

The caller said a man pointed a gun at the cashier and fled the store with "unknown proceeds," police said.

Police said the man is 5 feet 1o inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds and was last seen wearing a blue hooded jacket, gray pants and boots.

The investigation is ongoing.
