Bolingbrook's Metal Supermarkets Has New Owner
Rana Ullah is in charge of the local franchise that offers 8,000 types, shapes and grades of metal cut to each customer's specifications.
BOLINGBROOK, IL —Metal Supermarkets, located in Bolingbrook, announced Thursday that local entrepreneur Rana Ullah has become the franchise's new owner.
The store, located at 999 Remington Blvd., offers 8,000 types, shapes and grades of metal cut to each customer's exact specifications. The company supplies metals to local manufacturers, machinists, maintenance and repair, tools and die shops, hospitals, hotels, universities, schools, home owners, artists and hobbyists.
According to a release, Ullah is looking to build lasting relationships with new and existing customers through a commitment to customer service and by providing any metal, any size, which is cut and ready quickly.

"Metal Supermarkets Bolingbrook will refocus on providing an elevated level of service and knowledge to business professionals and hobbyists alike in Bolingbrook," Ullah said. "I have a unique understanding of metals and their manufacturing processes, including fabrication, machining, casting, forging and heat treatment, to name a few. I truly enjoy working in this industry and look forward to building relationships with new and existing clients in Will County and DuPage County."
Ullah brings extensive knowledge and expertise to the job. He has a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, a Master's degree in industrial management and he has worked as a mechanical engineer and as the owner/operator of a metal manufacturing facility.
