Bolingbrook's Squad Car Night Draws Huge Crowds
The community came out to enjoy the festivities all in memory of Officer Stephen Alexander, the event's original co-founder & inspiration.
The 3rd Annual Squad Car Night in Bolingbrook was a tremendous success! Departments and vehicles from all around Chicagoland joined the event. The greater Bolingbrook community loved the event atmosphere which had police officers and emergency management officials interacting directly with families and children. The event was all in memory of Bolingbrook Officer Stephen Alexander, the event's co-founder and inspiration.

The Bolingbrook Police Benevolent Society sold Challenge Coins. Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery hosted a Dunk Tank to “Dunk-a-Cop” with proceeds going to Special Olympics. The Illinois State Police offered FREE Kids ID’s. And the Bolingbrook Park District had out their trackless train and climbing wall. The evening concluded with a "Parade of Lights" where all the vehicles turned on their lights and sirens and paraded through the streets of The Promenade Bolingbrook.

A special thanks to The Promenade Bolingbrook and Officer Jim Burke of the Bolingbrook Police Department for organizing a memorable event. Big thanks to The Bagpipes and Drums of the Emerald Society (Chicago Police Department), EMCEE is MC (Michael Carpanzano), The Range at 355, Crime Stoppers of Bolingbrook, Bolingbrook Community Television, and MANY MORE for making the event a success!
