Community Invited to STEM Night Extravaganza

The Bolingbrook STEM Association (BSA) is hosting it's 2nd Annual Family STEM Night Extravaganza on Saturday, May 18th from 3:30pm-6:00pm at the Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Center (BRAC). Students of all ages will enjoy a variety of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math hands-on activities and exhibits. Highlight's of Saturday's event includes coding activities, math related activities, robotics, arts related activities, drones, DJ Services provided by Audio West DJ Services, video arcade games provided by Prince Arcades, and much more. BSA believes in making STEM learning fun, and this event provides a wonderful opportunity for students to have fun while learning new and exciting STEM concepts.

The Bolingbrook STEM Association’s mission is to focus on student centered learning that provides fun and challenging experiences while utilizing hands on technologically enhanced curriculum that inspires critical thinking, problem solving, and collaboration.

About the Bolingbrook STEM Association:

The Bolingbrook STEM Association was founded in May of 2017 by a group of like-minded community advocates led by the organization’s President, Sheldon Watts. The goal of the assembled group was to establish an organization that fostered an increased awareness and exposure around “all things STEM” in Bolingbrook. The BSA is working to create a central repository for dialogue, partnership, and promotion of local Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math programming and activities. The Bolingbrook STEM Association aspires to provide a community-wide program that exposes students to an innovative learning experience dedicated to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. The organization's objective is to maximize individual potential and ensure students are well-equipped for college, their future careers, and for life in a competitive global economy.
