Community Set To Gather for Official Tree Lighting
The Promenade Bolingbrook will light the holiday tree on Saturday, November 10th at 6:15pm, preceded by a full afternoon of festive fun!
The community is invited to visit with Santa and enjoy fun holiday activities before The Promenade Bolingbrook lights the big tree! All are invited to attend this FREE Festivial of Lights event on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 3:00pm to 6:15pm.
Activities for the entire family this year will include Cookie Decorating, Ornament Making, Costume Character Meet-n-Greet, Balloon Artists, Face Painting, Making a Holiday Card for a Veteran, Hat and Mitten Drive for Operation Christmas, Petting Zoo, Horse and Wagon Rides, and Live Entertainment.
- 2:55pm: Dance Force parades Santa to his tent
- 3:00pm - 4:00pm: BPD DanceForce Company
- 4:00pm - 4:45pm: BHS Madrigals
- 5:0opm - 5:30pm: Kinetic Dance Company
- 5:30pm-6:10pm: Holiday Harmony Carolers
- 6:00pm: Santa tent will close*
- 6:15pm: The Official Tree Lighting ceremony will begin with the Village of Bolingbrook. The Music & Light Show will begin immediately following the ceremony. Tree to be lit this year by one-year old Bolingbrook Resident, Luca Carpanzano (parents Michael & Nadia Carpanzano)!
*If you are not able to visit Santa in the tent, he will also be inside Bass Pro Shops from 5:00pm – 8:00pm that day!

Be sure to bring in a pair of new mittens or a new hat to the Operation Christmas Tree, which is located between Kay Jewelers and Helzberg Diamonds. With your donation you will be entered into a drawing for a $100.00 gift card to use at your favorite Promenade store. This is sponsored by Operation Christmas, who will be on site.

If you miss the Official Tree Lighting on November 10th, you can still check out the Festival of Lights Music & Light Show Series scheduled to run from November 11th to December 31st. 250,000 LED lights twinkle, sparkle and dance to more than 20 different Holiday songs! The show will play nightly on the hour 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 pm. The 60 ft tree sits in the round-a-bout in the middle of the shopping mall.
