Considering a Run for Local Office, but Not Sure Where to Start?

Bolingbrook United will host a virtual "beginners course" on how to run for local office on Sunday September 27, 2020, at 6:00 p.m.

Have you ever considered a run for local office, but you don't know where to start? Perhaps a position on the school board, library board or another governmental board.

You know you need to gather petitions, but how do you do that? You have seen people file to run for office, only to be kicked off the ballot later, why does that happen? Perhaps you have a family member or friend who wants to run, but you don't know how to help them or where to start.

Bolingbrook United is a local political party that was founded in 2017 and since that time has helped many first time and some seasoned candidates launch and run effective campaigns for local office. As a party that is open to new members and seeks to better our community, Bolingbrook United welcomes those who have an interest in local politics but are not sure where to start.
