Craigslist Deal Leads To Stabbing: Bolingbrook Police

Speeding, DUI
Christopher Norman, 30, 739 Sapphire Dr., was charged with speeding and two counts of DUI, following a traffic stop on the 500 block of N. Pinecrest Rd., at 3:07 am June 27, according to Bolingbrook Police.

Loud muffler, pot possession
Milton Sanders, 43, of Calumet City, was charged with an in-state warrant, no insurance, muffler violation, possession of cannabis, and driving on a suspended license, following a traffic stop at Lily Cache Lane and Creekside. Drive at 7:48 p.m. June 27, according to Bolingbrook Police.

Damage to property
Shawna Daily, 38, of Woodridge, was charged with criminal damage to property in the 300 block N. Schmidt Rd. at 2 a.m. , June 27, according to Bolingbrook Police.

Stolen wallet
A wallet was taken from an unsecured vehicle on the 200 block of N. Weber Rd. at 10:20 pm. June 27, according to Bolingbrook Police. (13-26971)

Stabbing
Bolingbrook Police officers responded to a call of an armed robbery at about 11:30 p.m. June 27. The victim said he met an unknown subject in lot D of Fernwood Drive, to make a sale off Craigslist. The subject displayed a knife, stabbed the victim in the arm, took the victim’s wallet and fled on foot at 11:30 pm. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries, police said.
