Darien Man Fires Gun Near Woodview Elementary School: Police
No one was injured in the incident and there were no reports of property damage, Bolingbrook police said.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — A Darien man was charged with aggravated and unlawful use of a weapon Friday after he had displayed a gun and fired a shot near Woodview Elementary School in Bolingbrook on Feb.1, police said.
The incident had started on southbound I-355 as a road rage incident and the subjects then entered Bolingbrook. The victim from Woodridge told police that while in the area of Ashbury and Charlotte lanes, 23-year-old Kobbe Anderson displayed a gun and then fired a shot into the woods on Winston Drive near Woodview Elementary School.
No one was injured in the incident and there were no reports of property damage.

After Anderson was arrested, officers also found the gun in his car. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
