Fire At Bolingbrook Home Leaves 2 Injured
Authorities said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Bolingbrook, IL — A residential fire over the weekend left one resident and one firefighter with minor injuries, authorities said. The Bolingbrook Fire Department responded at approximately 8 a.m. May 5 to the 300 block of Clarendon Lane, Bolingbrook, to find a structure fire.
The family, who resides at the home, was present at the time, officials said. Alerted by the smoke detectors, they evacuated before the arrival of fire personnel.
One resident and one firefighter sustained minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital, officials said. Both were released after treatment.

The fire was under control within 15 minutes, but authorities said the home is uninhabitable. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
