We are featuring a second author and illustrator in an Inspirations kit! Stop by the Children’s Services Desk and pick up a bag while supplies last. Our latest kit highlights S.D. Nelson. Each bag contains materials and instructions for galaxy painting, inspired by the illustrations in his book The Star People. You will also find:

2. Activities inspired by Buffalo Bird Girl (including how to grow a sunflower house)
3. An introduction to ledger book art, a drawing activity and questions to help you think about what you see
