Funeral Set For Plainfield Man Killed In Bolingbrook
Todd DeTamble died in a one-vehicle crash on Thursday night.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - Friends and family will gather on Wednesday and Thursday in Lemont to mourn the unexpected loss of 44-year-old Todd DeTamble. The Plainfield resident was killed Thursday night in a one-vehicle wreck in Bolingbrook.
According to the Bolingbrook Police Department, the fatality occurred around 8:15 p.m. just south of 1701 Remington Boulevard near frontage road.
"Vehicle driven by victim was (eastbound on) Frontage into (the) curve at Remington," police said. "Vehicle left roadway from the curve still (eastbound) into the parkway, struck a ComEd electric pole, rolled, and came to rest in the vacant lot which is north of 1701 Remington."

Bolingbrook Police say they found DeTamble dead at the scene.
Markiewicz's Funeral Home in Lemont is handling the funeral services for the Plainfield man, who used to live in Buffalo, New York. Todd DeTamble is survived by his wife, two children, three stepchildren and his parents, the obituary notes.

Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Markiewicz Funeral Home, 108 Illinois St., in Lemont.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lemont. The burial will be private.
