Glenbrook Hospital Faces Wrongful Death Lawsuit
Husband claims medical team failed to timely diagnose and properly treat wife's subdural hematoma and cranial bleeding.

Glenbrook Hospital is being sued by a man who claims the medical team’s negligence caused serious and permanent injuries that allegedly led to his wife’s death.
The Cook County Record reports Edward A. Mack, also known as E. Terry Mack, filed a lawsuit Sept. 25 in Cook County Circuit Court against NorthShore University HealthSystem (Glenbrook Hospital), and a team of doctors.
Mack is independent executor of the estate of Barbara Mack, his wife.

The suit alleges Barbara Mack was admitted to Glenbrook Hospital on Sept. 29, 2013, and the defendants failed to timely diagnose and properly treat her subdural hematoma and cranial bleeding. As a result, the suit claims Mack’s injuries allegedly led to her premature death on April 9, 2014.
