The Heart of Bolingbrook: Local Organizations Receive Donations
A total of $16,000 was given to support local non-profit organizations at yesterday's check presentation ceremony.

Our community is made up of countless organizations serving a multitude of great causes (honestly, too many to be highlighted here). Village of Bolingbrook Mayor Roger C. Claar presented several checks to local non-profit organizations at a check presentation on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. The following organizations received $1,000 each to support their operations and the people they serve in our community:
- Michael Mucha Racing (a special $10,000 check)
- 4 Kids Sake
- The Kats Out Foundation
- Ready Set Ride Therapeutic Recreation Facility
- Heart Haven OutReach (H2O)
- HEART Organization
- Bolingbrook Black History Month Awareness Club

Note: These checks were made possible through donations made at the 2019 State of the Village Address hosted by the chamber. A portion of each ticket that the Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) sells for the event goes to support these great causes in our community.
