Heroes Comic Book and Fantasy Art Expo at Joliet Museum

The Joliet Area Historical Museum provide a unique, enticing, and visually stimulating backdrop for vendors, artist, and patrons alike. Just a sampling of what you’ll see throughout the day via 4 floors of exciting exhibits & displays: HeroClix Tournament hosted by Graham Crackers Comics, the Super Villain Scavenger Hunt, prize drawings including $50.00 gift cards for Blick Art Materials, original Marvel and DC art, and comic books from Graham Crackers Comics.

FREE comic book giveaways at the door while supplies last! Display cases filled with rare and vintage comics courtesy of Graham Crackers Comics and many others. The Chicago International School of Comic and Graham Crackers Comics host presentations on the history and creation of comics. Blick Art Materials hosts the Artist of Tomorrow Drawing Booth where children are invited to paint and draw under the guidance of selected guest artists and instructors, and gain a firsthand perspective as to how the artist works and creates. Manga, Disney, DC, and Marvel artists, as well as independent comic creators, will be on hand. Treats will be available for purchase on the Museum’s Rooftop. Parking is FREE.
