Jewel-Osco, Meijer: Easter Grocery Store Hours In Bolingbrook

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Easter Sunday has often created some last-minute meal preps, and many of the most popular grocery stores in Bolingbrook will be open on Sunday.

Here are a few of Bolingbrook's local grocery stores and their Easter hours:

• Jewel-Osco, 1200 W Boughton Rd., Store: 6 a.m. to 12 a.m., Pharmacy: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Meijer, 755 E Boughton Rd., Store: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Pharmacy: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Walmart Supercenter, 200 S Bolingbrook Dr., Store: 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., Pharmacy: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. lunch break)
• Tony's Fresh Market, 271 S Bolingbrook Dr., 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Fiesta Market, 160 N Bolingbrook Dr., 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

National chains are varied in their opening plans for the holiday celebrated across Christian faiths. At least 38 chain stores plan to close for Easter, with at least 23 opening for at least a part of it, according to a list from the coupon company RetailMeNot.

In Bolingbrook, these are among the stores that will be closed on Sunday:

• Target, 1188 W Boughton Rd.
• Kohl's, 1138 W Boughton Rd.

Pharmacy stores with locations all over the country — such as CVS, Duane Reade and Walgreens — will largely be open for their regular Sunday business hours. These Bolingbrook locations will be open for regular hours:

• Walgreens, 680 E Boughton Rd., Store: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Pharmacy: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. lunch break)
• Walgreens, 101 Lily Cache Ln., Store: 7 a.m. to 12 a.m., Pharmacy: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• CVS, 1725 W Boughton Rd., Store: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Pharmacy: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Customers should check hours of other locations in Bolingbrook and surrounding communities.

Although the coronavirus vaccine rollout continues and many states are lifting pandemic-related restrictions, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention still urges people to limit grocery trips and use curbside pickup or delivery options when possible to limit the virus's spread.
