Local Radio Show Hosts visit Camp Fire in Bolingbrook

Star 96.7 FM was at Camp Fire Illinois Prairie in Bolingbrook this past Thursday (July 25, 2019) morning to give the campers an experience that they won't forget.

Lisa and Kevin from Star 96.7 morning radio show brought out equipment to use with Camp Fire's campers so they could see what it was like to be on the radio. The children had a hands-on experience that ranged from talking on the microphone to editing. They did a mock broadcast which the campers. Then, on Friday morning Lisa and Kevin talked on-air all about the great place and experience they had at Camp Kata Kani in Bolingbrook. They even mentioned the kids by name. Everyone at camp was excited when they heard their names on the radio.
