Local School Secures A New Home
Midwest Christian Montessori Academy announced their school is moving-- a half mile down the road --and proud to be staying in Bolingbrook!
Midwest Christian Montessori Academy (MCMA), a preschool/elementary school will be moving their location for the upcoming school year. MCMA has secured space in First Baptist Church, 314 East Briarcliff Road, just down the street from their current location. The move is scheduled for early this summer.
“MCMA is thankful for the dedicated families who are devoted to their children’s education and who are supporting the school through this move to our new location. Our school is not only a building – it is the students, parents, teachers and staff, together in community. We are grateful for this opportunity to continue to serve families right here in Bolingbrook,” said Eileen Contos, MCMA School Director.
Classrooms are being prepared now for opening of the new facilities in the 2019-20 school year. MCMA’s move to the new location will provide a seamless continuation in educational services for their current and new students in the fall session.

“The MCMA Board of Directors is committed to support the staff and families to carry on the mission of the school. We are also very grateful for the support from First Baptist Church and the ongoing support from local community leaders, the local business community, the Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce, the Village of Bolingbrook, and Mayor Roger C. Claar. This support has been the primary reason MCMA has chosen to remain in Bolingbrook, where we will continue to offer children an excellent educational alternative," said Michael Carpanzano, MCMA School Board President.
“We are grateful to launch this partnership with Midwest Christian Montessori Academy as they lease our educational wing. This is an incredible opportunity to impact our community,” said Pastor Vaughn Sanders, First Baptist Church.

MCMA has been housed at 151 East Briarcliff since 1993, as a non-profit since 2009, serving families with children ages 3-12 from Bolingbrook and surrounding communities.
