Man Shot in Chest In Walmart Parking Lot: Police
A man was taken to a local hospital after being shot in the chest outside a Walmart on Tuesday evening.

BOLINGBROOK— A man is in stable condition after being shot in the chest on Tuesday evening outside of a Walmart on 200 South Bolingbrook Drive, according to police.
Police responded to the report of a man shot at 4:08 p.m. A witness recalled seeing a man wearing a white puffy coat, black or grey shirt and tan pants running from the scene into a townhome area south of the parking lot where the incident took place.
Officers were told the victim and the shooter had a dispute and possibly knew each other. Police said in a statement on Tuesday night that this appears to be an isolated incident and remains under investigation.

An employee at the Walmart near the scene said she and shoppers were unaware of the events that were taking place outside.
