Man Threatens Kids' Party Guests With Gun In Bolingbrook: Cops
Jeremiah Thomas of Lansing was attending a child's birthday party in the village when he got into an argument with the guests, police said.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — A Lansing man was charged with aggravated assault after he threatened people with a gun while attending a child's birthday party in Bolingbrook Saturday, police said.
At 10:57 p.m., police responded to Residence Inn located at 180 Remington Boulevard after they found out that a man had brandished a gun. Once there, officers saw a man — who matched the description of the suspect — leaving the hotel with a gun.
Further investigation revealed that he had a disagreement with other attendees at the party, and at some point, he threatened his victims with the gun, police said.

Jeremiah Thomas, 31, from the 2300 block of Holiday Terrace in Lansing, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. Thomas was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
