Mayor Claar Presents Donation Checks to 13 Local Non-Profits

The thirteen organizations all received donation checks ranging from $500 to $1000 each.

Thirteen local non-profit organizations were all a part of a special check presentation ceremony on Tuesday at Bolingbrook Village Hall. Each year Bolingbrook Mayor Roger C. Claar takes a portion of each ticket sold at the 'State of the Village' luncheon (hosted by the Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce in January) and donates it directly to local causes and non-profit organizations. This year the donations ranged from $500 or $1000. - See Event Pictures Here - This year's recipients were:

- Ready Set Ride Therapeutic Recreation Facility
- DuPage County Area Project ( DuCAP )
- Camp Fire Illinois Prairie
- Heart Haven OutReach (H2O)
- 4 Kids Sake
- Valencia Boxing
- HEART Organization
- Bolingbrook VFW Post #5917
- CHIME! (Children Having Instruments for Music Education) at Bolingbrook High School
- Bolingbrook Premier League
- Diaper Depot "Community Baby Shower" at New Life Lutheran Church Bolingbrook and sponsored by United Way of Will County
- Kinetic Dance Company
- Bolingbrook Black History Month Awareness Club
