Multiple Bolingbrook Retail Establishments Targeted: Police

Retail stores targeted in Bolingbrook between Dec. 14-27.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Bolingbrook Police Department responded to several reports of retail stores being targeted in the village, whether it was theft from the establishment, from cars parked there or from customers present.

Dec. 27

  • A wallet was removed from a purse in a shopping cart at Jewel Osco, 1200 W. Boughton Road at 3:46 p.m.

  • Alexis Peterson, 21, of 7935 S. Home St. in Berwyn, was charged with theft from Walmart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Drive at 5:00 p.m.
  • The glass door to a business in the 200 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive was shattered by an unknown subject at 10:00 p.m.

Dec. 16

  • A trailer was removed from a business parking lot on the 500 block of E. 107 th St. sometime overnight.
  • Several tires were removed from trucks in a business parking lot on the 200 block of Marquette Drive between Dec. 14-16.

  • Several bottles of alcohol were concealed and taken from Meijer, 255 N. Weber Road by an unknown subject at 11:30 a.m. Loss was valued at $500.
  • Steven Thompson, 40, 210 N. Eastern Ave., Joliet, was charged with retail theft, from
    Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Rd. at 4:17 p.m.

Dec. 14

  • Four tires were removed from a semi-trailer parked in a business lot on the 100 block of E. Crossroads Parkway between Dec. 11-14.
