New Initiative Supports #ShopLocal Initiative

Many local businesses are "re-opening" as COVID-19 restrictions are carefully being relaxed. In an effort to support our local businesses and honor the #ShopLocal and #ShopBolingbrook message, a new initiative has kicked-off. Local businesses and restaurants are able to request a free video interview that will be featured for the community on websites and social media channels to showcase their re-launch and re-opening of their establishment. Businesses will be able to discuss what they are doing to keep customers safe, what promotions they have, as well as just a general overview of their business (selling products, services, etc.). The initiative is completely free for businesses and residents and consumers will be able to view the messages at no cost either. Michael Carpanzano will give priority for video scheduling to small and locally-owned businesses first. An archive will likely be housed on the #BolingbrookStrong landing page found here.
