Open House at Camp Kata Kani in Bolingbrook
Events include a clothing donation drive, puppy adoption, compass orienteering treasure hunt, archery, and more!
Join Camp Fire Illinois Prairie in Bolingbrook us for a full day of events on Saturday, March 7, 2020. Tour the property between 10:00am and 2:00pm, and register for Summer Day Camp. Enjoy the Adventure Program’s Compass Orienteering Treasure Hunt and Archery. The open house type event will be held at Camp Kata Kani (445 Trout Farm Road in Bolingbrook).
ABOUT CAMP: Our 8 full weeks of Summer Day Camp operates weekly sessions from June 8 though August 7. Daily hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm with optional before care. Be safe, engaged, make friends and learn new things. We are an outdoor camp. Contact camp@campfireusa-illinois.org for more details.
INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES: (Compass Orienteering between 11:00am and 1:00pm) Camp Fire’s Adventure Program will provide compass instruction with treasure hunts to practice navigation skills and find the prize. (Archery from 2:30pm to 4:30pm) Camp Fire’s Adventure Program will be hosting the sport of Archery. You will learn some basic archery components and have an opportunity to practice your skill with our archery equipment. Contact adventure@campfireusa-illinois.org if you have questions.
