BOLINGBROOK, IL - After 44 years of business in Bolingbrook, the Papa's Pizza Place at 253 North Schmidt Road will forever close in just a few weeks. There has been buzz on social media over the past few days now that the word is out. Papa's Pizza's last day of business will be New Year's Eve.
However, the pizza parlor will be closing its doors at 8 p.m. on Dec. 31, restaurant representatives told Bolingbrook Patch on Tuesday afternoon. That means if you want to enjoy a Papa's Pizza one last time on New Year's Eve, you better place an order no later than around 7:30 p.m.
And if you try to show up at 10 p.m. or 11 p.m. on New Year's Eve, the lights will be off and the business will be closed. The staff is not staying open to ring in the New Year, they told Patch.
