Canterbury Lane Reopened After Unsafe Driving Conditions

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Canterbury Lane at Lily Cache Creek is reopened to through traffic, the village said Wednesday evening. It was closed due to unsafe driving conditions beginning Tuesday afternoon.

Due to the recent rain, the village said water levels were too high to assess repairs, so the conditions were reevaluated after the water levels receded. The village said in a Facebook post that the necessary repairs began Wednesday morning.

Businesses and residential buildings were still accessible while the road was closed.
