Possible Winter Storm Advisory Issued For Bolingbrook

Three to five inches of snow accumulation is possible in the village starting at 4 p.m. Monday.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A winter storm watch will be in effect from Monday afternoon through Tuesday afternoon for Will County as the largest snowfall of the year is expected during this time.

The weather service said total snow accumulations of six to nine inches are possible and winds could gust as high as 40 mph. Travel could be difficult and the snow may impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes.

In a social media post, Bolingbrook said that three to five inches of snow accumulation is possible in the village starting at 4 p.m. Monday. Residents are being asked to:

  • Not park in the street after two inches of snow accumulates.
  • Not shovel snow into the street.
  • Keep their fire hydrants clear.
  • Slow down when driving.
